Re: LS1 front brakes caliper-to-carrier bolts question
Bought mine on GMPartsDirect.com. I can't remember which one it came with. Either the pin or the boot kit.
Caliper Pin 12530697 $3.73 4
Caliper Boot Kit 12530703 $3.12 4
If the bolts aren't with either of those, then they came with my new Z06 calipers. Check into those part numbers. If you need anymore I documented everything I bought so don't hesitate to ask.
**I just checked those part numbers and mine actually came with the calipers new. This should be the part number for the individual bolts in which you will need 4, #14067559. Good Luck!**

LS1 caliper to carrier bolts are longer than C5`s...you won`t be able to use those with the LS1 caliper.

Re: LS1 front brakes caliper-to-carrier bolts question
The bolts that mount the caliper to the caliper pins are a part # 18026153 2 per caliper 4 total per front brake setup. Call your local GM dealership PARTS deptartment and ask them to check the part # 18026153 . Retail on these bolts is $18.84 each!! ouch! Tim.
GM includeds these bolts in their pad kits!!! If you go with aftermarket pads you might get these bolts you might not! Try calling your local auto parts chain store and see if they have pads and if their included. Or order your pads from GM and you will get these bolts!

Re: LS1 front brakes caliper-to-carrier bolts question
i don't suppose anyone knows the length size and thread pitch of these bolts. i don't have to use legit GM fasteners...
big thanks espirocz. if no one knows the size i'll just buy one and then go match it up.
heeeey.... why don't i just hit the junkyard for a bolt to match up...

Re: LS1 front brakes caliper-to-carrier bolts question
yeah.... no, no they are not. 20 MM is not even long enough to go through the caliper holes....
thread pitch and 8mm is correct.
EDIT*
i went with 25MM long.

Well, here at my desk I do not have a digital caliper to make it easy for some to read but here is a LS1 and a C5 caliper bolt, you can clearly see that the LS1 bolt is longer than the C5 and if you can read the caliper, it is roughly18mm in length and the C5`s is considerably shorter, along the lines or 14mm

Re: LS1 front brakes caliper-to-carrier bolts question
uhhhh... you are reading your caliper wrong. here, let me show you.

you see, since the measurement ticks don't start until a little ways in (10CM i am guessing) the "0" marker is there so you know where to start measuring, but you measured right at the edge of your jaw, so your measurement was off.
