willwood makes a set of bolt on Calipers for the 3rd gen Camaros.
comes with pads and new slide pins. red / black / polished
with the Big WILLWOOD logo on them.
100% bolt on even your old brake lines fit under $370.00
just ask Summit
i HAVE the red set
you can get them in 1 piston or 2 piston

Re: wilwood D154 floating caliper?
They look very nice. A quibble, however: The OE piston is 2.375" (with 4.43 sq. inch of piston area) vs 2.50" (with 4.90 sq. inch). Given those dimensions, I wonder about significantly better performance? Would new OE calipers, rotors, pads, and lines (and perhaps a fluid change) provide the same effectiveness--or nearly?

Re: wilwood D154 floating caliper?
a retort:
1.they drop off 8lbs of unsprung wt from the nose of the car
2.the billet alum and ss parts hold up better over time (then oem parts)
3. look 100% better the oem parts (Rust sucks)
4.and a bit more clamping force from a almost 1/4" wider piston (on the pad)
and in my book for $370 bucks is a deal for 1hrs of install work.
BUT: on a side not.. not talked about.. this caliper is 1" thick on the front facing wheels.
and the OEM calipers are only 1/2" thick.
SO GUYS WITH low face wheels (like Weld wheels Drag Lites) Might not get to just bolt them on.
im going over this now with WillWood and Weld Wheels.
have to swap out the new RTS wheels from Low pad to Med pad. should work.
luckey for me its just swaping wheels (only a week old) and still in boxes
the only thing not in my house it the body of my Z28

Re: wilwood D154 floating caliper?
I wonder what those two considerations translate into where actual braking distance is concerned (vs. OE)? Be interesting to know.
Good luck in that man cave--don't get lost!

Re: wilwood D154 floating caliper?
I "quickly" perused the site, but saw nothing about a 12" rotor. At any rate, for larger rotors to fit (as in 1LE, LS1, C4, etc), the spindle requires modification.
