Re: PBR Rear Brakes

If you want an all-inclusive kit, the following, though pricey, should do the trick:

http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i10.html

EDIT: I completed the swap a number of years ago. The following write-up contains info and part number that may be helpful if you decide to 'piece' parts together:

Re: PBR Rear Brakes

Thanks James, that kit is is exactly what I need and a good price for brand new components. If I cannot find someone selling there old stuff I am getting that kit. Camaro Heaven quoted me at $3,500 for a USED OEM rear PBR set .

Re: PBR Rear Brakes

I found this kit, its not PBR but its a little cheaper
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk....html?loc=Rear

and they also had this Kit
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk....html?loc=Rear

Im not sure of the differance between the two, and between those and the PBR, this site says they are a direct fit. any input?

http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i182.html

-or this kit:
http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i24.html

-for this application:

Re: PBR Rear Brakes

The rear conversion is for a drum rear, you need the brackets for a disc rear 10 bolt. The other 2 links are brackets for the front which require spindle mods and a complete front kit You're looking for a kit for the rear right???

Yes Im looking for a kit for the rear, your right I dont need a conversion kit... I am unsure of those brackets because they say 12" rotor conversion for rear. Here are some questions I have:

-what are my options for direct bolt-ons with my rear and 15" wheels (size of rotors)?
-Will C4 or C5 brake kit mount direct fit? If so are they any better?
-will LS1 brakes fit direct?

Thanks tunedperformance I will give them a call

Re: PBR Rear Brakes

the 12" rotor kit used c4 corvette rotors, with the brackets it's a bolt on deal. What are you running on the front?

Re: PBR Rear Brakes

I have the stock brakes in front right now that I plan on replacing in the future along with a front end rebuild. But right now I have a drum rear on the car, I have the 92 z28 rear sitting in the garage waiting for brakes.
