coarse thread bleeders

are they putting coarse thread bleeders in re-man calipers with out thinking???

even just lose a tiny bit they will suck air around the threads, I watched bubbles drain out for about 5 mins before I caught onto it and covered the exposed screw portion with some anti-sieze and walla, no more air in the hose aka the line n caliper was bleed.

IM sure these things use to be fine thread on purpose just for that reason.

Re: coarse thread bleeders

Bleeders do not seal with the threads, so it does not matter if they are fine or coarse. Sound like.something else is wrong.

Re: coarse thread bleeders

Air won't get in past the threads unless you're doing it wrong or using a vacuum bleeder.
