Autozone golds aren't to bad, but the CMAX are way better almost no dust.

The cheap valucrap and basic duralast suck. I have the golds on my Daily and have little dust. My gf has the CMAX pads and I can't see any dust and she is hard on the brakes.

Re: Pads with low brake dust

I have HAWKS and they produce a good deal of dust. Any high performance brake pad is going to produce some dust, just the nature of the beast.

Dude, blacks, blues, what?

The Hawk blacks were terrible dust for me but the Hawk ceramics are great.

I don't recall what flavor they were. Something street/track oriented. I have no idea.

For sure the blacks then, the blues are track only. Even the blacks have to heat up a fair bit to start working well. Yeah those suck bad for dust.

I like Wagner Thermoquiet for "standard" driving. Seem ok for autocross too.

Re: Pads with low brake dust

I've had great luck with akebono ceramic brake pads. Very little dust. You can get them through Advance Auto, Pep Boys or Carquest.
