Stupid Problem - "BRAKE" Warning Indicator From Hell
So here is my story. This problem started after storing the car last winter. At times when I press the brakes the 'Brake' warning indicator will come on sometimes it will stay on and sometimes it will go out. When it stays on I can pump the brakes a few times and it will go out. Now the brakes them self feel fine. Soemtimes I can make teh warning indicator come on by pressing the brakes hard even at a stand still. The fluid is full, there are absolutely no leaks. I doubt the sensor is bad considering it happens when im pressing the brakes, so i do believe there is something going on. Iv changed the front calipers, the rear ones are only 2 or 3 years old and only have about 1500 miles on them. I also changed the master and have bled out the brakes over and over and over and over again.
What am i missing here?

I would have to say the rubber brake lines deteriorating. Might want to replace with new rubber ones or go stainless lines.
The hoses are the weak link right now.

Pull the drums and check the wheel cylinders, might be leaking but not enough to notice. Replace them anyway if you haven't already.
then inspect the flex hoses.
it sounds like you may have rear discs? Try adjusting them, maybe they are not sitting on the rotor enough and the extra slop is causing the light.
the light come on because a pressure difference front to back which can be from a leak or aftermarket brakes that great too much bias.if everything is working and you just want hte light gone, take out the bulb, lol

yes it was swapped to disc in the rear and i swapped the prop valve at that time a few years ago. if it was the hoses wouldnt i notice a leak fluid would have to leak out to have air leak in, no?

The insides of the hoses deteriorates and makes them flex. They won't leak, just flex. You mentioned you put on a new MC. Did you make sure you bench bled the HE## out of it to ensure no air is in it? Just had to ask.

novaderrik's suggestion may not be too far off. But not for the reason he gave, the parking brake lever also has a switch that will turn on the brake light. So remove the connector from the combo valve for a couple of days and see if the light stays off.
If so, then the issue is in the hydraulic system. If not then need to tackle the parking brake lever switch.

i was serious about just unhooking the brake light wire... if you lose the brakes, you won't need a stupid light in the dash to tell you that you have a problem... if the brakes feel fine and you aren't losing fluid and you are certain that it isn't the switch on the parking brake that is turning it on- then just unhook the stupid bulb and get beck to enjoying the time you spend driving your car.
