C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
I'm looking to change out my 12" C4 front brakes for the C4 HD 13" versions. Question I have is are the calipers for the 12" the same as the calipers for the 13" or will they have to be changed out? I've got the rest of the parts necessary and wanted to find out about this before I started the swap.

Re: C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
They each use a different caliper due to the rotor thickness difference. That is .80" for standard and 1.1" for the HD rotors.

Re: C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
Another question I didn't think of till I just went through the fitment sticky is can I use the C4HD brakes on 17" TT2 wheels?

Re: C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
I have 13" C4 rotors on my Z-28 with the PBR calipers, NOT the Baer Brake branded calipers, and they fit inside stock 16" IROC rims. And yes, the calipers for the C4 HD brakes are different than the standard C4 12" rotors due to rotor thickness. Also, I believe the cage/carrier for the caliper is different. I would need to confirm that in my garage at a later time.

Non HD Calipers and carriers if dual piston, fairly clean and reasonable on price.

Re: C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
Let me know. They are the non-heavy-duty calipers and carriers, for the 12" diameter, narrower rotors. PM me.

Re: C4 HD PBR caliper interchange
Another question has popped up: do I have to use the 1LE hubs or can I use the regular hubs that came with my original C4 kit with the 13" HD stuff?
