PBR Brake Identification

Hey all, can anyone help me identify these rear pbr brakes?? The guy advertising them for sale says they are from a third Gen, but I can’t find anything online or on this forum that can verify it. They look like ls1 brakes with the backing plate and the parking brake shoes like a drum...

NOT Thirdgen.

Looks like a pile of junk anyway. More trouble than it's worth.

Re: PBR Brake Identification

That looks like 4th gen, but the parking brake cable bracket looks wrong. Should work on any 10 bolt though. If it is cheap enough I would pick it up, all that can be cleaned and used again. I bought the same setup used to put on my 2nd gen

Re: PBR Brake Identification

Well after much internet searching, I have found out that these brakes are off the mid- to late- 90s caprice and impala, caprice with the police package, and the impala ss.. just and FYI

Negative. Those would appear to 93-97 calipers, or they have been modified to be like the 93-97 calipers.

The correct 89-92 calipers have the cooling fins extending completely around the face of the caliper.

And an example of the current 89-92 casting...
