New rear end or swap
Ok I'm new to this whole car building thing I have an 88 rs had the 2.8 I am taking it down to the body I wanna do a drum to disc conv should I buy a rear end with disc and might have better gears in it I'd like to go with a 383 stroker eventually so what's your guys opinion

Are they for 4th gen or Vette?
Yes: they'll work w/ 4th gen rear.
No: They'll stick out past the fender wells and look stoooooopid, kinda like those Suzuki Samurais you used to see where the ENTIRE wheel & tire is outside the fender; but if you look at it from behind, they STILL look like pizza cutters.

I've found all sorts of stuff on CL. (yeah right, never mind that, they turfed it anyway)
So in the end, what difference does that make?
The parts fit, or they don't. CL, or for that matter ARE, doesn't too much enter into the picture.
