Rear discs... proportioning valve

I know much has already been posted on this and I've read what I could find but still could use some help/clarification. Car is a 1990 IROC that had drums in back. Swapped rear end to a 9 inch Moser with disc brakes last year. Braking suffered. From what I've read it sounds like I need to change the proportioning valve or replace the spring. Not sure which exact valve I would need because I don't know anything about the calipers. Is this the one I need? http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i172.html. 90-92 1LE/J65 valve. Or a different one? Is it worth just trying to replace the spring first? I think this is the one? https://www.grainger.com/product/GRA...s-Spring-1NCR5
Thanks very much in advance?

I'm trying to figure this out also. I changed the spring out for the 1NCR5 and still no rear brakes after bleeding them.

Re: Rear discs... proportioning valve

you can an adjustable proportioning valve at summit but with disc front and back you should not need one for all disco system

Re: Rear discs... proportioning valve

Are they the GM Delco Moraine calipers? Because they have bigger problems than prop valves.

Don't know. The brake assembly on the Moser rear end is made by a company called The Right Stuff products. www.getdiscbrakes.com

I have the Delco calipers. I can't get them to work.
