Thanks for any help,JD
It’s a 350 with “performance” rear gear, oil cooler, 4 wheel disc, dual cats, etc. If the body is solid and it runs well, I believe it’s worth 2 grand. Sounds like it’s a solid foundation to build and enjoy. Where in NC?
See how the SPID doesn't say B4C on it? That's how you know it's not a B4C. The fact it has Z28 is also a good indicator it can't be a B4C because B4C was an option on the RS only. That's also how you can tell it's not a 1LE. No 1LE code, no 1LE.
All you really need to know is the engine code. B2L or L98 (both actually) pretty much says it all. Pretty much all the performance options were standard with the 350 engine. The engine required the dual cats, it required the performance gear ratio, it required the FE2 suspension, it required the 245/50ZR16 tires.
1992 was one of a handful of years where ordering the 350 engine, actually automatically triggered all the good stuff. 88 & 89 were dark times when a 350 could be had with 2.77! gears!
