Car: 85 Z28
[IA] 1985 Z-28

$6700

1985 Z-28 Camaro with T-tops, car has approx 105,617 miles. Very clean and straight body. Good dash pad, power seat, power windows. Previous owner replaced the original gauge cluster with the currently installed cluster that has a 115mph speedometer, I have the original cluster and documention of the mileage when it was replaced. Aftermarket CD player installed but I have the original radio. No rust, the floorpans and wheel wells look fantastic. Car was repainted under GM warranty in the early 90’s. VIN H car, has the original carbureted 5.0 and 700R4 transmission. Tires are good, front suspension was rebuilt 7,000 miles ago. I've owned this car since 2012 and have paperwork / receipts going back to the mid 1990's. Also have a LB9 Tuned Port Injection 5.0 and 700R4 (130,000 miles on both) from another 1985 Z-28 and four 16" Iroc wheels (1988-90 style). Have the correct ECM and ADS Superchip for the LB9 motor. Would like to sell all together.

Thank you. I love the paint on your Z-28, my other 85 was painted almost identical.

The car looks fantastic. It doesn't say that it is sold yet, so just making sure since it has been up for awhile. I also did not see a price, sorry if I missed it.
Thanks
Chris

Thank you!, still for sale, had some interest locally but have been somewhat hampered by weather. Asking $6700 with the LB9 engine and Iroc wheels, willing to sell without those as well and will deal accordingly.

Beautiful, I wish it was located closer to me or it was a different time of year where I could drive it without snow and salt.

Re: [IA] 1985 Z-28

@schnekkie The pictures of the car are in a enclosed storage area. Are you storing it there?

Thank you, I hear you on winter. Once the roads have been salted I keep it parked till spring. The pictures were taken at the local airport, at the time it was stored there but it’s now parked in my garage.

What did it cost you per month to store it in enclosed storage? When do you think the salt will be cleared off the roads enough to drive it, April?

I had my Z28 in a storage unit for a while, (I'm also in Iowa like OP) and I paid $60 a month. The salt is usually off the roads up here by April....just depends on the spring
