I am a full time student looking for a thirdgen to drive daily this summer. I am near Chicago but will go anywhere to pick the up a car, as long as it will drive back to Chicago without too much trouble.

I guess I would reluctantly consider other cars besides a third gen.

Sombody has to have a third gen laying around that they dont need anymore.

I have a 91 Rs 305 TBI but it cant be driven fro the fact the car needs a shifter cable, and finish the trans going in! the car is in primer and has t-tops and runs good you can hear it run im in des plaines, but i dont have time to finish putting in! its a project im asking $895 for it let me know thanks!

 

have u checked chicago.craigslist.org i just got an 89 iroc 350 tpi t-tops (c&c ) off of there and it just needs a t-top and 2 front fenders but other wise is good or check on ebay for one that is not a z-28 and u should be close to your price range. oh yea mine was 860 and is a great daily driver except that fact i have to derice it!

85 camaro florida car bought new by a auto mechanic.
drives great - newer paint few dings etc. front pass side fender alittle bend on bottom and paint peal on front bumper corner. ice cold a/c.
I was gonna put my 350 in it but have too many projects and like my 2nd gen better.The 2.8 crossfire in it runs decent right now but seems to have piston slap. This car has been very well maintained has 138,000 miles. underneth of car is clean paint, NO rust at all never in accident nice staight body. interior is good for a 20 yr old car driver sear seperating on side allittle and top of rear seat. small cracks between vents and windsheild on dash. carpet and rest real nice engine and compartment is clean. would make a nice car. car is in florida but I'm going to michigan in a few weeks and could get a trailer and transport it. my email : xrmperformance AT gmail.com Location: florida Mileage: 138,000
