Which 4x6's should I get?

OK today me and my friend just put my sub in my car... RF Punch HE 12 on a RF Punch 100.2 amp. I have a Pioneer DEH-P2000 CD Player. I'm not looking for any speakers I need hooked 2 an amp. I know kicks sound better but I don't have the money for all that yet. Cuz I'd want an amp hooked up to all that and that would add up. Just some I can run to my cd player and get good sound. Thanks!

Buy whatever sounds best to you. Go to some stores and listen to everything they have. Every speaker sounds different, and we all have different tastes. 4x6s seem to vary wildly in sound quality from brand to brand, so heading our suggestions may give you a good starting point for stuff to listen to, but ultimately it's what your ears like best.

definitely listen to them first, but infinity 4x6 plates are pretty popular for their sound quality and relatively cheap price.. head down to your local stereo shop and try em out, they're a pretty nice bang for the buck

I have Kenwood eXcelon KFC-X468C, and I love the sound they make... They aren't plate tho, and most people here tend to like plate speakers, but for having an oval shaped cone they sound good. They also fit without a problem...

just my opinion...

i hate 4x6s. i hate any tiny speakers for that matter. whatever you decide to get, though, get some of those "bass blockers" (they're decent) or get a crossover for them because no matter how good they are, they get distorted at high volumes from too much bass (unless your deck is all high tech and has different settings for different speakers......i never could afford those kind).

I agree with the Infinity's..not too pricey, but still a great sounding set of speakers.

I agree with using bass blockers with 4x6's. You can't here bass from them anyways...
