Hey Polecat

What does it mean when they say the s12d solobaric`s are upgradeable? How long does it take and what all do they do to upgrade them? Also how much does it cost to have them upgraded?:hail: :hail:

You'll have to call for cost...not for sure.
Upgrade would move you from the D series to a new L7. And then, you get a new one year warranty through us......

Gotta love Kicker.

Hey Polecat, another thing I was wanting to know in the lost PM message is; on the KX1200.1 is the remote a remote gain or remote bass boost? If its a remote gain, how is it wired with the gain mounted on the amp? IE if the amp gain is at the lowest and the remote is 6 detents from the lowests and I move the amp gain up 3 detents is the overall gain structure going to change? Or is the amp's gain now bypassed with the remote gain plugged in?

Thanks.

Gain control...set the gain to match the HU, and the cord plugs into the amp, and you can go from lowest setting up to the matched setting you did manually.

Cool.

Hey was Bigg's @ Heatwave on Sun? I never saw his car. I don't really know what he or you look like, so I don't know if I saw you/him. But I was there, getting burnt to a crisp. LOL.

Yeah I walked by that a whole bunch, didn't really look at what you all had there (cause I would prob buy something if I saw it at a good price, lol). Me and the guys from College Station (Audio Video crew) were sort of at the entrance of the Sound competition gate ('01 Pewter GMC C3, red RX-7 and silver Supra) and I was always going back and forth from there and the lanes.

Hey I got a Q on the power output of some of the amps (feel free to mail or PM me if you don't want to openly state it), what are the ACTUAL outputs of the 300.2 and 400.2 @ 4ohm stereo and the 300.4 @ 4ohm bridge? I may go with all Kicker amps (or all Lunar, not sure yet and it will be a while b4 I do anyways). The300.2/400.2 or 300.4 will be used to power my JL XR 3-way set (and eventually maybe Rainbow Pro set). Thanks man.

Awesome, thanks for the help!

On the '.4' model was that the addition of each 4ohm bridged set? ie 192x2 = 384. I'm wanting as much power (headroom) for my main spkrs as possible.

Not to be a burdon but......what is the 4ohm rms rating of the 1200.1 (for competition power class', its not listed on the .pdf files). Whenever I get to Advanced I don't want to be any higher than 301-600 (even though I will get my butt kicked in that class anyways).

Again, thanks for your help!
