i just fired up my two alpine type rs and am now afraid i am gonna blow the hatch. those things are freakin loud. i am so afraid. u can actually feel the window bow and move with your hand. i dont wanna have to pay for a new hatch these things are loud. and tight they a clean as hell to but man they are loud!!!!!!!!!

 

You worrying about breaking your hatch..............

is eqaul to

me worrying about taking flight when going to the top of a hill.....

unless your hatch already has cracks in it...

 

Maybe the only time you might worry about it is when the sun's been beating down on the hatch glass and it's hot enough to the touch that you can't leave your hand on it. I think there was some rumor that heat pressure caused a hatch window to explode outwards once. Anyone else heard this?

 

thats true. people down south who regularly experience 100+ degree weather can corroborate that...
