amp and battery

me and my friend have been debating, that when the car is off does the amp still draw power from the battery, and if so how do you fix it?

Transmission: slipping 700r4, soon probuilt

No it doesnt run off the battery unless u have the remote lead wire (usually blue) hotwired to the power lead.
