HX2's
power hx2's or punch hx2's?
i had two power hx2's wired up to 2 ohms on a bd1000, sounded good. then i put one down at 1 ohm on the same amp sounded really good, and hit very hard. just be careful, the box i had was too large, and i blew both subs, with no signs of distortion.
i was pushing roughly 1800rms into the one hx2 though.
if they are the punch hx2's a BD1000 is a great choice. for two power hx2's id check into the bd1500 or the 1050S

If you're going to run that sony at 1 ohm, make sure to keep it away from all flammable objects and to make sure you send in your warranty registration.

It doesn't matter why you bought it, I'm just giving you some advice that you would be smart to listen to. We even had the damn sony training guys admit that their "1 ohm" stable amps can't take 1 ohm for long.
