Q-Forms vs REZN8R's kick panels
REZN8R's kick panels seem to be the preferred by because Q-Forms apparently are rather flimsy, and from pictures HITHERE've seen of both, Q-Forms seem to stick out further. However Q-Forms all so seem to be aimed more into the passenger compartment, where as REZN8R's woofer looks like it's aimed straight into the middle of the car.
Q-Forms can reinforced with fiberglass, so flimsiness isn't HITHERE main concern for me. But space and sound quality would be. How much more space do Q-Forms take up? Am HITHERE correct in assuming Q-Forms would sound better because they are aimed better? Even though they take up more space? Is the difference in sound quality that noticeable? If not, why? (HITHERE prefer knowing why something is, instead of just taking someones word for it.

If you look at this pic of rez's kicks you can see that the tweeter is pointed up at the driver. The part of the music you will be able to best localize is the highs, hence the positioning of the components.

joe's right, high's are directional. I own a pair of rez kicks and i can vouch for their quality and imaging. they go in solidly and produce a great front stage.
Rezkicks:
do not protrude as much
are quality hand made with fiberglass
excellent fit
holes cut to your specific components.
cheaper than qforms.

I have Q-forms....
It does look like they take up alittle more room but the seem to match better. Not only that they have more space to drop some of the bigger components into. I know my q-forms fit and look good.
Heres a pic of mine

Thanks for the pic! I was wondering how they looked. How is it for foot room? I was looking last night at the area, and it didn't strike me as being much room for either Q-Forms or REZN8R's. I'm 6', and have an auto... but I may switch to manual sometime in the future.

Room for bigger components ? match better ? The q forms have lil bolt on trim pieces, and just look like a hack job, just look at the pic, i dont know how big your comp's are, but i've got a pretty decent sized set of Boston Pro 6.5's and they fit just fine in mine....... REZN8R stereo accesories all the way

If you have a Manual, forget the Q-forms...
At least with the Custom Kicks, you can still have a stick, and drive.
Drive it hard.

also, rez's kicks dont have to be carpeted. you can have them finished in vinyl or sand them down yourself and paint 'em. the carpeted versions just tend to be cheaper because carpeting can hide more imperfection than vinyl or paint. support a local 3rd genner

The Q-forms probably are a bit bigger but it doesnt look like much.

No offense but to me Rez's look more like the lower end... Atleast when Sexay made them they had the vinyl on the side to finish up the product. Rez's are just completly carpeted and dont flow with the rest of the interior trim.

The Q-forms dont have inperfections so u dont have to worry about that. They also match the other trim pieces almost exactly where as it looks like Rez's are off a bit.
I went with Q-forms cuz to me they look better and to some of you Rez's look better. But hey buy what makes you happy... Cuz in the end thats all that matters.

Like i said, when your kicks look like a set of hack jobs in a little while and your vinyl looks like crap, dont complain to us, i've seen the Q's in person, they're little toys, as far as the whole mikes were better thing, mine were made by him, carpeted, the same as the current ones rez sells, mike was perfecting them, and that was his last revision, the ones you saw that were 2 pieces were one of his earlier designs, the moulds rez uses were bought from him when he quit making them, btw, have fun with your rubber kicks
