Whats your Stereo Set-up???

I'm wanting to add more to my stereo system. I've thought about bldg. a box for the cargo area, but I dont want to lose my only storage area.

Has anyone came up with anything good for a decent sounding system and kept some of your storage area??

No sub or aftermarket Amp yet.

Eclipse CD3422 deck
Infinity Kappa 4x6's up front.
Alpine Type R 6x9's in back.

Sounds decent, is hidden well so people don't know I have an aftermarket deck in there.

Plans for later include a mild 4 channel amp for the speakers, and a small amp for a stealth box in the former glove compartment box. Perhaps two as I don't have a spare wheel.

I don't really miss my storage space b/c it seemed like all i put back there was useless junk. I would always put my backpack and stuff in the back seat. The one thing is it makes it harder to go grocery shopping.

As far as the spare tire, have you looked at one recently? We had to put my brothers on to get a flat repaired and the car sat so low that we had to put a big block of wood under the spare just to keep the car up. It looked like he had his car on bags and was trying to lay frame. I can't imagine trying to drive on it. Just my $.02 tho.

I hear ya. The only reason I dont have two 12s in the back is because it is our only car and the wife needs the space for when we go to the beach and stuff. I cant wait till she gets her tahoe and i can do some serious bumpin

Thanks for all the replys..

So looking at the "glove box" in the cargo area.
Building a small box to take up lower half of storage area.

Cant do spare tire area, I told AAA to KMA after 6 months of being lied to and jerked around. So if I get a flat I gotta change it myself so I need my spare to ride with me.

well if you changed to a larger tire, or whatever, AND have posi traction, then it's a bad idea to use the spare anyways..

since with posi both wheels spin at the same time / same speed... and supposedly it screws up the posi since with a smaller tire, the smaller tire would have to spin slower than the larger one, but it can't because of the posi...

the smaller tire would have to spin faster to cover the same amount of ground.

I am going to run either 1 or 2 JL 8W6's in my car, don't know where I am going to mount them yet. I'd like to get them mounted into the car somewhere and not in just a box.
I already have my battery in the spare tire well, N2O bottle is going all the way in the back, changer goes into the side storage compartment.

Here ya go, I just got a bunch of new pictures, and I love posting new pictures

I just got the top of my box carpeted, and although it takes up the well, I can place stuff across the top, and under the passenger side part of the top of the box, You can lay stuff such as bee...soda under it and it is concealed. I am keeping a quart of oil there now.

Here is the 4 gauge wiring that I ran. It's for the JBL 1200.1, but the Planet Audio is handling it pretty well.

And here is my new Alpine CD Player. I posted earlier bout it, but I figured I'd add it in here since I'm postin the new stuff.
