How do i get wires from behind the head unit to trunk?

when i install all of my RCA cables and stuff do I look up by the brakes and just pull out the cables from behind the head unit or do I have to take out the dash and go all behind that area?

Just run them out behind the head unit and run them to the trunk by hiding them under the carpet. It will be pretty clear what you need to remove to get the carpet up enough to stuff them in there.

No need to remove the dash.

Relax, it isn't hard. Run the rcas and other cables out the back of the head unit. Run them under the driver side dash (where the fuses are) and behind the plastic piece the the hood pop is run to. From that, run under the door trip and back behind the sail panels. Run it all the way to the back and to the driver side compartment. And now your set. Good luck.

I prefer to run them along the passenger side. The passenger side of the dash has a TON less crap, and you also manage to keep the signal wires away from the fuse box, which is the noisiest part of the whole car.

Is it hard to run the wires thru the passenge side panels on the floor(door moulding)? Then where should I run the wire to get to and amp and subs? Keep in mind the 8 guage wire.

Not hard at all to run under the door moulding. You should be able to fit all of your wiring under there, just tuck it underneath the carpet and push it all down. Past that, pull your passenger side backseat out, and I think you can get underneath the sail panels without pulling them IIRC.

I decided to run my RCA's down the pass side of the trans tunnel since I have power wires on both side of the car. Large 0/2 gauge battery wire to the trunk for the battery on the pass side and misc other power wires along the drivers side.
