You need at least 3/4 inch thick plexi so it doesnt flex and crack when it hits. a link to the box plans https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/att...postid=1009845

i've done tops before and we used 1.5 inch plexglass. It's not cheap but there is very little to no flex. in my opinion a whole box is not worth it really. Make a really nice wood or fiberglass box then join them together. then add some neons or something to accent it. my two cents. Good luck which ever way you go.

I thought about one so that I could do something extra tricky with it. Not sure what yet but something. If you do make one please post lots of pics.

i was thinking like a clear banpass box or something so you can see the whole speaker just kind of floating there in the plexiglass

When my buddy worked at a glass shop he racked a bunch of 1inch glass and mad a bandpass box out of it. Tell you what it was 200lbs but it sounded BEAUTIFUL... Flex? excuse me? what flex....that thing rocked, and it fired, with pinpoint accuracy in one direction... (really annoying actually)
