Camaro violated... Car broken into... help needed
I think it had to be someone who knew the car... Which saddens me further...
My car is 3/4 of the way through an engine swap in my inlaws back yard. So we didnt worry about the car being stolen. We had tools an stuff stuck inside the passenger seat...
Anyway they made off with my JVC head unit and my box with 3 10 inch MTX subs
400 dollars... poof..
not only did they take the stuff... Since my battery is disconnected it left my hatch hanging wide open in the rain
They broke my stereo surround.. if anyone has an extra how much do you want for it...
They didn't cut the wires... They untaped all the electric tape that held the harness together.
The car hasnt seen the road in like 2 months. Its a small group that know what was in it. I'm actually pretty sad about this one.
Fortunately the day before my husband mounted my edelbrock rpm performer intake, carbuerator, performance starter, and alternator on the motor. Before that they were sittin in the passenger seat.
Did I mention they took my car keys?
They were in the car since it wasnt driveable. My car's nothing special. Well, it almost is. The only thing they hurt was in my interior (from the rain) and my stereo surround.
I'm still mad
Anyway, I need a surround... If you have one you're not attached to... Please contact me at mist1006@mac.com or on aim mist1006

I don't have what you're looking for, just offering my sympathy. My former Camaro was broken into a year ago, and pretty much the exact same thing happened to me. My entire system was stolen along with my collection of Morrissey cds. I seriously doubt whoever stole them was into Morrissey - but I guess people will steal anything.
The most frustrating part was that I had a Viper alarm system installed, but it was disconnected because my girlfriend had accidentally broken my remote.
I'm dating someone else now....

Damn theives should burn in hell!!!!! When i got my car the plastic radio trim was gone. I got tired of looking at it like that so i made one out of plexiglass.I painted the inside part of the piece black, looks much better. Sorry to hear about your car. I used to have a mustang, one day i went to work, parked the car outside, went in when i came out about an hour later their was two burnout marks where i HAD parker my car
Alarm was on and all. Turns out it was the guy i bought the car from. I think 90% of the time when a car is stolen or broken into its someone you know who did it.

if they took yoour keys you deffinaly need to change the locks. they will wait till it's running and steal the whole car. you neeed to get a new ignition cylinder and all new locking cylinders for doors and hatch... man that sucks.

fortunately replacing the locks is going to be fairly cheap. my husband works for advance and can also put in the locks...
sounds like the homeowners insurance for my inlaws is going to cover my stereo stuff :lala:
now if i can just get this motor swap done i'll be a happy camper...

Good luck finding 'em, it was about a $1000 loss for me, they almost had the car but weren't bright enough to use a B&M Megashifter apparently... jerk offs
