hmm, did you take in the thickness of the wood when you made it? If not nows a good reason to remake it to improve. What sub you got in there? Cool start, i would like to hide mine somewhat =]

I will be remaking my box to accomidate 2 JBL's (the ones in pic) and my New AudioBahn 12's

im scared of glass cracking oh well

you'll have a hard time cracking the glass with those subs to begin with

secondly you will be better off only putting in audiobahns or jbls...not both. Each sub has a different personality, some like low bass better some like high bass better. and without a very intriquite crossover network you will get a lot of cancellation in your setup and in the end it wont be as loud as just two 12s

im scared of glass cracking oh well [/B][/QUOTE] About the only way your gonna crack the glass with those subs is if you throw one at the glass. 1986 Take a hammer and beat the hell out of that thing, measure all over again, when your done masuring, do it again, and then once more, take the wood thickness into account, cut the wood STRAIGHT, the idea is to get all the sides flush together with minimal liquid nails etc.

yeah, use one set of those subs or the other. best not to use both. and you wont even come close to breaking the glass, with or without all 4 subs.

well i know im going to remake the box. To make mine smaller and more conformed for sure, dicided to sell one pair, as it stands the jensen amp pushes the JBLs lower, but the audiobahns do the hard hitting notes better, im going to barrow my friends 800 watt Kenwood to test out the audiobahn. After that ill sell a set for around 75-95 bucks, (locally, dont wnat to have to ship). Lots of ppl liked my JBLs more too, they did shake the hatch up and down, and was enough to crack the ice off of it this last frezing rain we had =]. I would rather keep the audiobahns in there for looks and name, but if the jbls play louder, and do what i want then they stay.

What do you suggest on getting both lower notes and harder hits? I do feel the audiobahns more in my chest, but the JBLs shook my seat back and forth.
