The System is going on 5 years old still banging, when lanzar was big before the went out of business,opinions please, change to new school?

That looks great. I'd keep it just for the reason that it is "Old Skool"

After all, aren't our cars? With out old skool, there would be no new skool.

Are those Lanzar subs also?

I'd agree. Those were the "entry level" lanzars, which really weren't special for their day, and definately aren't special for today... although I'm convinced that the "entry level" stuff from back then was still better than the high excursion, low priced junk that's out now.

I'd toss a couple Shiva's in there.

the subs are dc pro 12 lanzar, I did the system myself a while ago I have not keep up on the lastest speakers or amps, the new stuff looks like alot of chrome on the amps ,I didn't know if the new stuff comming out was better then the old or just bs, thanks for all the opinions, I like the old stuff but I was at alot of shows this passed year and people told me it was out dated and change it....

I ordered them bare alum and had them chromed for $50.00 dollars buy my local guy, I get a deal from him because of all the parts I get chromed though him for under the hood,thanks from the comp.

yea, i work for Kicker, just first time I've seen a good job on chroming them...they look great!

In sail panels (2) 6" midrange lansar and (2) 1"tweeters
subs (2) 12" dc pro
amps opti drive 100, opti drive 200
crossover opti 2x
180 alternator
optima 800u batt up front
1 farad cap
addition gel cell rear
clarion pro audio head unit with pro audio eq
clarion 6 disk changer
4 gauge wire from front to back 2 gauge between batt
custom built box

systems sats. in comp spl--143 not the highest ,but I got best wave form over all

Gary Kovener....the guy that ran Lanzar before they turned to crap still makes stereo stuff. GOOD stuff too. Ever hear of Kove audio. Those Amegeddon subs will rattle your teeth.

Did not know gary,never heard of kove audio got a link to a web site? or a picture of the subs?.....here is a interior shot pillar speakers and head unit eq

i got a kove 15" sub in my roc right now using that while i await my custom box for 2 fosgate 10's

it hits pretty nice. i have had the sub for something like 4 years now. and i have put it thru hell and it still looks like new and sounds great
