they're available in many places, a local shop around my area even has them. http://www.mmxpress.com
i would definitely build my own though if i were you, you can make them much stronger than the Q-forms for way cheaper and you'll take more pride in it

the only thing is i want them to be exactly the same on both sides and i am scared that if i make some out of my kick pannels they won't be exactly the same on each side and i won't like that much

I have a set but they are for 5.25" seperates. I was unaware they are available for 6.5". I used a thin layer of fiberglass and Dynamat to stiffen mine up and have had no problems since.

For correct imaging you don't want both sides to be exactly the same, so I wouldn't worry about that.

after you make the first one just make a mold of it. Unless its just not that simple i suppose.

I would never put that q-logic sheite in my car, too flimsy. So when DJ Sexay was building custom ones, I was his 2nd costomer.

I think Resnar8 or supting like that has the mold, but he is in Iraq now, so no more kicks as it stands.

I have no problem with mine being flimsy or sheite(?). I like them very much and it looks more like a factory piece than any others I've seen. And yeah, they hold 5.25 drivers, but that is plenty for what it is being used for.

I have no problems either w/Q Logic panels. I just installed
them today, as a matter of fact! They do look like factory
almost. Even the color is almost dead on. I went with 6"
Kenwood component speakers, and they fit just fine.
I just had enough time to test them out. WOW! What
a difference! Way better sound and clearity than just the
front dash speakers ( I still have them hooked up as well!)
I got like 9 speakers setup in my car now!

I didn't really like how they need the little plastic doodad where they meet the door sill plate. For me, they just took up too much foot room. The color and texture did match pretty well tho.
