GM radio adapter

I put a cd player in a 2003 Grand Am for a friend, and she gave me her old factory cd player. I want to put it in my 86 firebird beater. What kind of adapter do I need?

What kinda headunit is it..1din, 1.5din? etc.... if its 1din you'd need to get a metra adapter... go to autozone and ask around

They dont make an adapter. You will have to go to the dealer or junk yard and get the female end of the harness that plugs into the stock grand am radio. Then go buy a normal metra adapter for your car. Splice the wires from the stock grand am radio into the metra adapeter. then just plug the radio into you car.
