As long as you can get a reverse wiring harness for the radio, or get at least 6" of wiring harness out of the donor car, yes. The plugs for the newer radios are different but they all have the same basic features.

On the other hand, if the radio has something like TheftLok, things get much more interesting.

a friend of mine bought an 05 whatever the replacement for the s10 is and put an aftermarket radio in. they had to keep the factory radio and rewire it so that he could store it under the seat. in short, it was a massive PITA.

I installed a Delco CD from an 02 sunfire. Simple plug and play. The wiring harness plugs are the same. The only modification i had to do to make it fit right, was cut the left mounting tab slightly.
Well, the radio has the 7 band eq and one of the slider covers is missing, but it works and for $40, I couldn't pass it up. Oh yeah on most of these cars, people never activate the theftlock (because it is such a PITA to enable/disable).
My gf's Grand Prix has the same radio, but has only bass/treble controls.
FWIW, I have heard that there are numerous problems with these factory head units. I think you would probably be happier just going aftermarket.
