Amp for stealth subs & kicker panel speakers

I was thinking about 8 or 10 inch speakers where the spare tire goes and also the other side ... additionally would like to run speakers in kicker panels ... and possibly 4 inch speakers mounted overhead in the t-top

That would be running together with the stock setup (ie stock front and the stock 6x9 in the back) .. until I save up money to upgrade that as well

Would this amp work ?

Just to make sure I understand you correctly, you're thinking about...
- running subs
- running kick panels
- running 6x9's
- running 4x6's
- running 4" in the ceiling

Two questions. First, what kind of sound are you going for? Secondly, are you planning on upgrading all those speakers or are you planning on leaving the stock speakers in for the 4x6/6x9 and adding the rest? If so, that will greatly diminish sound quality.

Another downfall of taking that route is cost. Buying quality stuff for all those locations would cost a pretty penny (I spent about $500 on my 6.5” components and I got a pretty good deal). You're better off investing in two good speakers to run up front along with however many subs you want to run in the back. Also, what's the sense in spending $150-$200 for a pair of custom kicks (or making your own for $50) and then putting low quality stuff in them?

As far as imaging is concerned, you want as few points of sound as possible. Ideally they would be equally spaced from the driver/passenger and would offer a nice stereo effect. This is impossible in a car. The next best thing is to run kicks. It will give you a nice sound stage and a really good stereo effect.

To address your original question, that’s not the best amp in the world (probably doesn’t put out much wattage) but it’s not that bad a buy for the price. It’s also probably not an amp you want to buy if you’re serious about trying to run 4 sets of speakers off it excluding subs. Also, see if the has any pictures of the amp in its current state since it has undoubtedly been installed in at least one car.

The amp is 300 Watts ... that was my concern, whetehr it would be powerful enough.

The stock dash speakers, the 4x6, I'll probably get the 4x6 to 4 inch adapter plates, spacer washers, and mount a set of 4 inch Infinity up front.

6x9's in the back, will leave that for now, but that's another thing I'll upgrade one of these days.

So I guess for now I would just want to run a set of maybe two speakers and two smaller subs .. or four speakers and two smaller subs.

I'm completely clueless when it comes to amp requirements etc when it comes to cars.

One, look at a different amp. Two forget about putting speaker any place you can get then to fit. You'll be much better off spending all that money on one GOOD set of components up front.
