Awhile back I mounted a 7.2" LCD in the dash with a JVC DVD player. Then I got greedy and added an Atari 2600 in the dash. Everything is wired through the car stereo. Works great

I LOVE Atari.
Why not Atari, People who like X-Box and PS put them in their cars, so if some cool dude likes Atari, why is it less cool than a PS3? If it is because they are old and you can't have old stuff, then you better quit driving your third gen because they are as old as the Atari.

Actually, the Atari is more suited for the second gens. I remember getting on in 1976. Thats when it was called telegames. Not to change subject but was picking up a part at the dealership. They had just gotten picks of the 07 camaro. Couldnt show any one but says it very retro.

this thread is cool. but an atari for looks? i hope that is in your 86 and not your TTA. if i had an LCD i would TOTALY put a genisis in my car. but i would hide it under the seat. the controllers would come out of the center console. but why do that when i can fit my sega nomad in the center console
in case anyone does not know what a nomad is, it's a handheld that plays full size genises cartridges. sega owns

hey, if you don't want to deal with the game cartridges there's a new atari 2600 remake with a ton of games saved on a hard drive. They sell them at wall-mart in the kids section and the rock. looks like the original design(at least what I can remember of them, I'm younger than half the cars on here tho.

Telegames was the Sears ripoff of Atari. Totally compatible, but they just threw their name on all the games!
I love the screen... but the Atari on the dash is a bit much. Very cool though!

I think it's Pussycat Dolls "Dontcha".
Instead of listening to CD music, I burn music video's to VCD format so every song has some eye candy to go along.
