4x6 boston's wont fit??
I went on crutchfield.com and it says that these http://www.crutchfield.com/S-OGLViQ7...51400&I=065S75 wont fit in the dash but pioneer speakers exactly like these will work. Is that an error on there site or will those really not work in my camaro dash? Also the only difference i see is that the pioneer's have a 1 11/16 depth and the boston speakers have a 1 13/16 depth is an 1/8th really that big of a difference and if it is can i easily modify the dash to make them work?

I have the Boston 746's in my Camaro dash. They are spec'd at 1 3/4 depth. They are a tight fit but I don't think that another 1/16 of an inch would have kept them from fitting though it has been a while since I put them in.

In 90-92 Camaros, you'll need to do some massaging for them to fit. The molded heater ducts will interfere and will require modifications similar to what's needed to install them into Firebirds. There's a tech article on this site that explains the process.
The problem with fitting those bostons is that the woofer magnet is nearly the same size as the woofer itself, and it's also offset, which can create additional difficulties.

you have to remember that crutchfield will tell you what will fit ( without modification ) they want the installation to be as user friendly as possible but they also want it to be clear for people that can't make changes to their cars. I installed 6 1/2 bostons in my doors so I wouldn't have to think about clearance issues with the dash

well i have a 89 iroc so will i still have problems? If so what will i have to do to make them fit. The 3 they have that fit are weak crappy speakers so i would really like to use the bostons.

I don't know if they'll fit but crutchfield has a great return policy, if they don't fit they likely wont give you a hard time returning them... good company
