sterio stopped working
okay so i am running 2 amps 1 that powers my sub and 1 that powers my componets i have polk interior and mtx subs both mtx amps. 4 channel running the iterior. for some reason my speakers started cutting out and i would turn the radio off and then on and they would work for a little bit then cut off again did that for a little bit then it wouldnt come back just lost all power to the speakers the radio is still working on and goes on the tracks and is playing but no sound what so ever. help me out thanks

Do your amps still have power when this happens?
Check all your connections, sounds like you have some loose RCA's, or bad ground, or loose power wire connector.
Check everything out, and see if everything is connected securely.

it was actually none of those. the fuse that my power wire has on it the metal started to melt the glass but the fuse didnt blow it just wasnt having a constant flow so it wouldnt work new fuse fixed the problem.

most people would check the fuse first . ????????????????

not if it was cutting in and out.. i would check the fuse, but it would be after i check my wires. if it went completely dead then id check the fuse first..
