Re: Kicker

Are you really planning to give that sub 2500 watts RMS?

If not, I wouldn't bother. The square Kickers have a reputation for lots of noise with decent sound quality. The question is do you want noise or music?

Re: Kicker

The square Kickers are loud but only ok in sound quality.

Are you looking to compete in SPL competitions? or just get your car bumping? or what?

2500+ rms watts is way to much to have balanced music. The only reason to run that much power is for competition. Have you ever heard a setup with that much power?

Re: Kicker

i have a 15" L7 with a 2000w rms amp on it...that thing is plenty loud...i had it in my camaro with a 3.5 cube box slot ported..and the box was so big it sat on my seats that are folded down..was a pain to see out back..i would stick to twelves at least..unless of course you're going competition...

Re: Kicker

I run 2 12 inch Kicker CVR's and absolutely love them. I used to run 2 L7's in my Jimmy and those sounded great too. I have had nothing but good experiences with my kicker subs!

Been running 2 Kicker comp 10's mounted in my fold down shelf for 4 years now and love'em. Now I all about 1 cubic foot per, but easy install great sound, light weight and cheap. I also have a Bazooka 10in in my IROC. Again cheap/light and effective. Motor'in, whats your price for flight...........

Re: Kicker

im a big kicker fan as u can see by the pics. they are 3 kicker l5's 600 rms ea. ive got a kinetik bat/cap with a interstate battery up front. the amp is a rockford fosgate T1500-1bd 1500rms amp, pioneer cd/mp3 head unit and all four doors have 6" pioneer speakers and it bumps some serious bass.

Re: Kicker

Just remember that the more bass you make, the more the panels shake.....

Make sure you sound deaden first or all you will hear is your car rattling.

Why not look at some JL 12w7's they would hit low and hard.
