Any third gen out there with double dins if so post a pic and what did you have to do to get it in

 

I just put one in like a weak ago I'll see if I can post pics from my iPad

 

Here is mine with minimal cutting it's too cold too do a better job and I don't have adequate tools but I like the look so far

 

That looks like a cool deck but would it have not been better and easier to get a unit where its the size of a single din and the face screen comes out?

 

I think they offer more in the way of extras with the 2 din. Dont they?

 

Maybe they do. I dunno.
I did have at one time one of those with the screen that comes out and it can be adjusted so it come out and clears a shifter and stops in any position and the screen looked as big as that double din. But with that one there was also a huge box that is needed (the tuner I think) and I would have also had to install the disc changer and DVD and what ever else.

 

Im looking for one of those cheaper Chinese that are double din. I also want GPS. I dont think there could be too much to installing a double din system. I know one other guy on the forum did it and it looks good. Would like some examples of double dins
