Double Din Head Unit Post Your Pics

MY Pioneer

This is what i did to my Camaro, i took the face plate out made some measurements and some cuts, also took out the back plate from the inside of the dash that holds the radio to not drop in more then its limited to do so, you will see it once you take your radio out. unscrewed the temperature controller and put the unit right in then pressed a little with the temperature control plate on the unit so that holds it in place real good screwed the control plate back and put the face plate back on.

It dose not move or vibrate its a real real tight fit.

only thing left is to put a trim on the sides because there is some space so i will post the rest of the pictures once i have done that.

Looks fantastic. Are you happy with the head unit? I am looking for a good one. Trouble is I want GPS but hard to find on with Australian maps.

Re: Double Din Head Unit Post Your Pics

masked off all i did not want texture coated, lightly misted it with a texture coat then removed all tape and sprayed it with sem paint to match the rest of the dash pieces

sem and duplicolor. you should practice with it first different coats and distances change the look as well as angles
