The title pretty much says it, I have a 92 Rs and im about to change them. how do i get them out? do I have to take out the dash to get to them? if so any recommendation on an easy way to accoplish this. Also any recommendations on where to put a realativly small amp?

Remove the screws from the dash, lift dash out. The speakers should be screwed in, unscrew them and you're set. If you have oversized magnets on the new speakers, you may have to manipulate them to get them to fit but I've put 4 different pair in my car and none had problems (Cerwin vega, Pioneer, Clarion and recently kicker).
As far as the amp goes, it depends how big it is.. i've seen some that actually fit into underneath the dash (cutting required) and I've seen some people put it underneath the passenger side of the car (above where your feet go, by the kickpanels). I've got both of my amps in the back because they are simply too big to put up front.. If the amp is for a sub or something, I would suggest putting it in the glove box in the back as long as you can get proper ventalation back there.

Hope that helped. Changing the front speakers can be akward at first but it's really a simple task..

Don't forget to read the tech articles on this site. There is one that outlines all installation procedures.

Its not really lockable. It has the electric pull down motor.. Which can be opened by a switck or a key behind the license plate

Not many of the Camaros had the trunk well lid that you are referring to. (This is the one that covers the lower part of the hatch area, if I understand you right.) In fact, I personally haven't see any newer than '87 I think. It's not hard to add though. I'm about to put one in mine that came from a Berlinetta, just for the sub amp, and to keep the sub out of sight. I was actually impressed with how the sub sounded being covered up with this panel!

Dont ever mount an AMP upsidedown! The heat sinks are made to push the hot air up, but heat rises so when it is turned around it compleatly defeats the purpose of any heat sinks!!!

I know what you mean. The plate makes it act as a bandpass (almost).
