Bass takes power, power that a deck can't deliver and a normal speaker can't handle. You need to either back off on the bass, or buy an amp and a sub, or at least better speakers. Unfortunately, bass costs money because it requires big amps and big speakers.

i think one of your problems is the receiver sony has a low preamp output but it aso depends on how your amp is wired and set up and how the speakers are wired to the amp

Sony's pre-amp output is perfectly adequate for all amps. The Sony pre-out has about a 2 volt output, which is pretty much the norm.

see i had it installed by best buy and i had the other four spk's installed first and then the subs put in like a month later i think that they might have put the 6x9's in the pre-amp outlets because it will hit hard or they are ****ing idiots or something

Yes Best Buy sucks, They seem to hire inexperienced people and carry lower end equipment. I suggest trying to adjust they the high and low pass settings on the amps crossover and would not use the bass boost on the head unit. Look in the telephone book or online for a car audio shop in your area. Best Buy needs to meet the demands of the general shopper so they can't specialize car audio. This is only my opinon and Best Buy does offer some good products.

Decent products, good prices, useless salesmen and hack installers.
