'88 power antenna
Looking to replace my dead power antenna. However, all I can find on the internet are universal antennas. Anyone have a link they could share for a direct fit antenna? I'd really like to not have to modify or fabricate anything.

Re: '88 power antenna
There are a few members who have found an aftermarket one that is pretty close.
When the one in my '88 died a few years back, I decided to have it rebuilt, using better materials. I posted about it here (warning...the project snowballed a little...).

This is the gentleman who rebuilt mine. Did a great job. Don't know if he's still doing them or not, or if the pricing is still correct. But give him a try if you decide to rebuild.

Re: '88 power antenna
The original power antenna that came in my '88 IROC was busted and the mounting nut was missing. Found video by another member showing how you can make an aftermarket power antenna fit on a third gen.
I bought the antenna off Amazon and installed on a weekend, and ! (Don't mind the lack of paint, old video it's since been painted)

Dead as in...?
If motor hums, you have a broken cable. The Reatta guy should be able to help you. Or, look on Amazon for the Crown 60003152 power antenna it is a near perfect replacement, assuming all else in the system is well. Needs a few easy, minor mods to install and connect, otherwise, it is the identical twin of the one you have.
If motor makes no sound, you have to chase the circuit. The connectors you need are at the relay. One of the boardies here can tell you what the voltages are supposed to be across the pins (don't cross them LOL) with the key on and radio on/off.
Good Luck
