More updated install pics...

5 pics, each about 11k so it shouldn't take too long to load.

First 3 are the kicks finished except the grill and the last two are center console/radio housing as well as a partial shot of the almost ready to vinyl drivers door.

lookin good! Will you make SBN ?

So you ended up vinyling the kicks ? I'm going to attempt to make mine with SEM texture coat, but then make a mold off of it and remake the kick with gelcoat to duplicate the texture, should be more durable then sem texture coat.

I should have more pics of my hatch area this weekend or shortly after.

89transam - Yes I do all my own work

DJ - Be there as a spectator, most likely, as a competitor, not a chance in he||

I am currently among the ranks of the unemployed, so I don't have the money to spare on all of the rest of the drivers that I need, and most of my time is dedicated to finding a new job so the install is seriously time hindered.

I just have a new digi cam, so I figured I'd get some good shots to post up.

The vinyl was actually pretty easy to do with the HF series and heat activated contact cement from Select.

The hardest part was the wrap around the trim near the door and I found by the second one that if you do enough releif cuts on the back side where it would wrap to the inside, you can pull just enough out of it to semi keep the texture in shape and not burn through.

The HF vinyl is pricey though and even though I really ought to re-cover them, I'll leave them like that for now.

No kidding. It's costing me a small fortune to vinyl my hatch trim panels that I made to cover amps, distribution, etc ...

Look me up when you get there. Come hell or high water, my car WILL be finished.

Those kicks look sweet and like it was a PITA to Vinyl. What did you end up doing about the dash / door panel problem? I couldn't really tell from the pics. Looks very good. I don't care much for the Plexi around the Headunit tho. It kinda looks outta place but everything else looks great!

I'm not sure where you are seeing a mirror...

The black plexi is the same as what is being used in the amp rack, processor rack and most of the trim work. It may look out of place at the moment because it is not secured back in the radio pod, it's just placed over the front for the picture.
