Just put a 2nd cap in... MUCH better...

Well I got tired of having to turn my system down at stop lights because of drawing too much current with the rpm's low.. I have a pioneer amp that does 70x2 rms and a rockford 800a2 and a circuitbreaker on the battery (100amp). I also had a 1 farad cap which did NOTHING it seemed as far as keeping my lights from dimming and such. I decided to put another one in and a buss bar.. So far it has made a huge improvement.. I can actually listen to my system now.. If any of you are having charging problems, add another cap (or two) before you go out and buy another battery or a high power alternator...

I've got the stock alternator and battery, with the stock wiring. As far as wiring for the amps, 4 gauge to both amps, 8 gauge to the caps from fused distribution blocks.. This system draws a total of over 100 amps...
