Kickpanels for sale to the first 3 people!

Just removing this message so people don't get confused. Currently, I am not accepting orders. I am finishing up my last batch, and will beging new molds that will mate up to your existing kickpanels, no need to send in yours to me. The will also be easier to cover and I may explore other coverings besides tweed. Give me 2 to 3 weeks.

It looks like you do really good work. I've been making custom enclosures for awhile but haven't got much into fiberglass. It looks like you put a lot of work into those things for just $200. I'd like to try and mount my 6-1/2's in the kicks, but I have an OZ audio set with about a 4" mounting depth, so I think I'll have to move to the doors.

Yeah, 4" is a bit much. Good news is the 3rd gen door panels are very easy to remake for a mid bass. It is basically a flat piece of board you can build from. Then just recover it and attatch the handle and door latch.

My kicks can handle about 2 3/4" mounting depth.

Could you cover them in carpet instead of tweed?

probably not, I build the whole thing on top of a stock kickpanel, and it doesn't look right unless I cover the whole thing, including the part that curves down towards the door jam. As it is now, to cover in tweed around that curve is pretty difficult, I have to cut some plastic off the side that goes agains't the door just to make it possible. Tweed is by far the easiest material out there to cover these things with. (well, maybe a high stretch vinyl, but that would include a few more days of sanding since vinyl shows even the slightest imperfication).

Yes, $200 USD my Canadian friend! shipping might be a bit more for you though, I've never shipped set up there before.

Here's one idea for how you could carpet it. I'm pretty happy with it except that i really wish I had a more professional looking border.

hey DJ, i got my kicks in and i love them. i think i'm gonna get a second pair off you too for my other camaro. the only thing i had to do was make the tweeter hole a bit bigger, but other than that they are great. thank you.

Hey DJ!

I got one of the first sets when you had the $100 sale....Love em, except I took the tweed off and recovered em with black headliner material.....That stuff works great too and stretches well around the corners and stuff so you might want to look into that to give peeps other options. I saw a set of qForms for the first time a couple weeks ago at a competition and I like mine so much better, they don't stick way out into the floor area of the car. Thanks again, and the cores will be at your door soon.
