i have the power wire comming out of closest fender 'hole' close to the firewall, im gonna see if i can route it farther in the fender, and have it come out clower to the battery,

Have you guys tried muting your amps to see if the noise goes away? You can eliminate 50% of the system as the problem maker by doing that.

Only had one problem with engine noise.. it started whining loudly like i had a turbo or something. turns out it was my alternator dying... A guy i talked to at an automotive place said the factory alternat6or only has enough power to power the factory applications and nothing else, even a new set of fog lights or something drains power and will eventually kill your alternator.
