So I hear some of this **** can be heavy?? Whats a good enxpensive sound deander? Doesn't have to be recording studio good, just something to cancel out the noise from the hatch area near my sub boxes.

This guy lives local to me, has sold a ton of this stuff and it works great. For the price you cannot beat it or even come close. It is comparable to what is called Dynamat Extreme.

$20 for less than 2 square feet, or you can get 50 square feet for less than 80. If you don't need that much, I would find someone who needs some for there car and split the roll in half with them (but I would use all of it in your car, as it makes a big difference in the doors, floorboard, and especially over the wheel wells).

WHOA!! That seems expensive to me. Maybe I'm looking more for some low end foam.

Its all relative really. $80 isn't too bad considering that it does make a pretty nice difference in the car (if you have an exhaust or noisy tires even more).

Pretty damn good price, actually. OneEye, you say that this stuff is as good as Dynamat Extreme? Have you used any of it yourself? I might pick up a roll or two....

I paid 135 for 100 square feet of B-Quiet Extreme. It is alright. I used Dynamat on my last car and I kinda wished I would've done the same on this car although I don't have the whole car done yet for a comparison.

I know the guy running the auctions, have heard his car, and have heard wonderful testimonials from people who have bought it and have put it in there cars. If I didn't have a bunch of other stuff lying around, I would buy the Raam mat from him as well. It supposedly is as nice as extreme but cheaper, sticks to vertical surfaces much better than most of the dynamat, and is cheap.

I guess most of you are looking to quite down your interior or block out the outside noise. I am looking to get rid of the rattle and shock noise the rear end makes. I figured filling that all in would help. Sounds like I've got a tool box in the trunk all the time. I removed the tire, everythign is *** tight. Still sounds like I got a pile of tools in the back.
