The front speakers are fairly easy to replace. first of all, are they in the dash, or in the kickpanel?? If they're in the dash, you have to remove about 8 screws under the front lip of the dash, and four screws in the heater vents by the windshield. the dash should then pull out towards you. I have Polk audio in my dash. Lots of speaker brands will sound good because of the location but don't expect too much bass if any at all. use bass blockers so you don't blow the speakers and be carefull the speakers you buy aren't too deep. there isn't much room up there.
Kickpanels are pretty much self-explanitory

Just like whut custm said, make sure they arent too deep.... I bought a set of Kaption 4x6's and the base hit the speedometer and they wouldnt go all the way down... Luckily I found some spacers that worked and it worked great.... I would get Polk or MB Quart..

Thanks for the info they are in the dash and I was hoping it would come up easy. I just got 6 x 9 alpine triaxials for the back and I have a new pioneer deck the is made for gm's so it doesn't stick out. I want to get a full sound.

My brother has owned 2 different Pioneer's. The lastest that he bought is the DEH-P7400MP. It sounds great and plays MP3's. I actually just bought the same unit for my car online for $240 after shipping.

I got the DEH-P47DH Pioneer and it sounds good, and looks great fits in like a stock unit. I paid $260 from a local store. I am looking hard at those 4 X 6's . I'll take some pics if you want. that was with the wire adpter and antena adpter. that DEHP77DH looks like a a nice unit to.
