I have a friend that took the box for 2-12's that fit in the well and cut the holes to make it fit for 2-15 RF XLC's and it slammed pretty good.

You should. I saw a Camaro for sale a few months ago with four 15" Vegas. He had the back seats removed and sat the boxes on there. However you can make a box that will fit in the well. I'm not sure if the part that is 15" will fit in the well but you can put it at an angle or make it stick up a bit.

15" vegas need something around a 3 cubic foot box. A pair would need a total of 6 cubic feet. Add in the dimensions of the wood and bracing, and you wind up with a box that's absolutely gigantic. Those Vegas sound great and hit hard as hell, but they take up way too much space. If you put them into a smaller box, they'll sound like hell.

The guy that stuffed the 15s into a 12" box most likely wound up with a system that slams at 1 frequency, but is thick and muddy sounding, and has no output except in that narrow frequency window. If all you listen to is rap it's not so bad because all that crap booms at the same frequency anyway, but with real music those types of setups sound real bad.

I agree with Jim. The box needed would be much too big. Use the 300 bucks for a set of 10" or 12" Subs
