Sweet merciful crap! That's a commitment to zero trunk space. I guess it doesn't have t-tops
Takes a lot of ***** to give up the room, but it probably allows for way more volume for the subs. I like the JL logo, too. Not half bad. Overall a clean setup, if inconvenient. I wouldn't do it myself, but if it works for someone else: good on 'em.

Thanks, it's my setup, and yes, I do have T-Tops, but putting them in the storage bag in the back seat is worth it to me. I don't use the car to haul stuff, the only thing that goes in it is a book bag, and me and my girl, lol. When I feel like taking off the tops, I just fold down the seat, and put them back there.

Hey Juan, the box isn't as big as you think. The actual enclosure for the subs is underneath all that, and isn't all that big, and it is chambered also. I wanted 2 12's that would hit good, and look good all at the same time. 4 12's was a thought, but I'm not into the losing my hearing at an early age, lol. Oh, and thanks Firebretha for the compliment. Some people don't like the hood, everyone has there own opinion. I like it cuz it's a different look. Thanks you guys.

So the amp is concealed in the piece above the subs under the JL logo? Really clean look. Does the amp overheat that way?
BTW, I saw the other pics of your car in the thread that Bawls posted. Dude, you're way ahead of the game! I'm still trying to get my audio setup the way I want it, meanwhile you've managed to customize your whole car!
Anyway, it looks sweet. Any other mods/additions planned in the near future?

i got a dual chambered sub that goes all the way to the floor. With my old sub box, i had two 10s and i could put my amp under there .. which is good if your window doesnt leak. The air is cold down under it. Then, i got a dual 12 that went to the bottom and i have to get rid of my t-top bag, and then put my amp there and my changer to the side. its a alright setup, soon im gonna actually clean it up more. But, the pics i got on my page show it all off.

I haven't had any probs overheating yet, but I'm going to get a stereop amp temp gauge to keep track on it just in case. I'm getting ready to put a piece of mirror tinted plexi under the JL Logo, so I'm going to have to install an electric fan in the amp rack. Won't be too hard, just screw it into the rack in front of the amp, and wire it to the remote turn on lead and the ground, so whenever the amp comes on, the fan runs. Oh, and alot of people have varying opinions on the grill. The pics don't do it justice at all. If I can get some good shots of it with sunlight hitting it, that would look better. It's actually really polished. But it looks dull in the pic. Thanks for all the compliments guys. Oh, and for trueblue91RS, thanks alot. I've tried to modify different parts of the car at one step at a time rather than concentrating on certain areas first. I restored anything that was screwed up or broken first of course, but as far as the mods go, I try to plan on which would be better for me right now.

Looks pretty good. If you add a fan though, you probably want to use a relay, and run the remote power to the relay. Remote power's arn't ment to supply all that much current, and it may cause problems trying to run a fan directly off of it depending on how much current it draws.
