If you have an amp and subs in the back. Its kinda of hard to find a place to put the T-tops.

nonsense!

there's 2 10"s under the grill. T-top bag fit just fine, and you can see the relocated bag hooks near the seat.

I'm on my 4th t-top f-body, and I did not give up t-top storage in any of them. It's all about good design!

when I got my subs there was no room for my t-top bag so I put my seat down and put the long straps toward the back and put them in the clips closest to the back seat, and layed the bag over my back seat and it works great. And I dont have to open my hatch when I take my t-tops off. hopefully this helps

Check out JPrevost's install, it has one solobaric 12", amps, and x-overs completly out of sight. The sub is in the spare tire compartment and amps in the seat. It's subject is "Pics of my install..." if you diden't see it. By the way great job man.

I might be getting a job selling Kicker, JL, and Eclipse this week...wish me luck. I also put new engine pics on my site so check 'em out if you have time.

I have a custome box that goes fluch and fills the whole in the back. It is perfectly flat and I have my 2 tens in there. I also then re installed the clamps to strap your t-tops bag so the ttops will fit. There is one trick though..you have to have the grills over your subs, so when you put the ttops on it you won't hit your subs. The one problem is your bass is kind of drowned out by the ttops sitting on them. You win some you lose some. Just an idea. I will try to get a picture on the web so you can see it. Also this has a cool affect because the subs face up so it rattles off the back glass and goes right in the car!

What you need to do is build a custom box. Mine has 2 12's one the sides facing up. There is a small gap between the two subs that lets air go down into the bottom of the well were my amp is. The box is one piece and has two chambers. It just has a small rectangle cut out from the center of the box so that my amp can get air.
The box sits low enough so that the t-tops sit right on top and don't touch the subs.

I put my CD changer in the spare tire well and cut an opening out and put a hinge on it so that it looks nice and neat and is really easy to get to.

Hope this helps

i HAD 2 12" cerwin Vega IT.12's in the rear hatch.. custome made box.. sit all nice in there.. all i did was tape meaure.. cut out the bottom.. meaure.. cut out the top.. then i figured out my airspace and did the height according to the sub specs.. had to do a little cutting and figuring for the wider bump on the passanger side.. but everything was nice for 2 cubic feet.. but i did put my t-top bag on top of the subs.. kills sounds.. back seat.. who wants to sit there anyways?!

Do you have any pics of it in the well of your car? Does it fit between the two little "steps" on the sides or does it rest on those, leaving space under it?

Here's my single 12". You could easily fit a 10" and your amps in the well.

BTW: That is a fully sealed box (3/4" MDF) with 1.1 ft^3. Has plenty of room without interfering with t-tops.

Plenty of room for anything. I don't think there was ANY space wasted in my install. BTW, the amps were pretty easy and the sub box just took time. Can't beat a 12" solo in a hatchback...plenty of boom boom.

That install is just too cool. It's more impressive every time I see it. I know it took you a long time to do it, but just how long?

No panel rattle and it really isn't that hard. The amp rack install honesly took very little effort. The run down: 2 strips of MDF measured to the correct height for amps to be flush, 8 small L brackets, 8 shallow but thick and course thread screws w/ 8 washers. Used a drill to make some holes to start the jigsaw and away I went. Oh yeah, 8 more screws to hold amp to the strips of mdf. Not a hard install as long as you plan out all the wiring ahead of time. I took my time and none of my wires cross anywhere. All the power wires are on passengers side and none of them run next to the signal or speaker wires! I'm glad these amps worked as well as they did. All the gains are on the top so it's easy to tune from the front seat (with back seat folded down).
