Right off the main page take the link to Tech Articles. It's right near the bottom. There's 3 or 4 car audio related articles, and one is all about installations.

make sure the 4x6's will fit.. otherwise
you will have to do some cutting around
to get them to fit.
I have polks in mine.. and the drivers
side didnt fit.. I had to do some modifications.

well guys, it looks like im screwed. I wrote Rockford Fosgate and they said my car had a 1.75 inch depth and the speakers were 1.9375 depth. So I guess I'm ****ed, because I don't have a dremmel or a glue gun and I wouldn't do that anyways, because I would mess it up. Glad I didn't order them now, but now I don't know what to order. Guess I'm stuck with blown speakers.

Even if they're a little too big (.2" isnt THAT much) you still may be able to put them in with them raised up a little bit (make a spacer or something). The guy above said he used washers, and if I remember when I used to have 4x6's in they used to stick up a little too, and the dash pad still went on with no problem.
Or you could just go with kicks.

If you raise you speakers up becarefull with your dashpad because when I went to remove mine the little thingy that holds the speaker grill cover on the underside of the dashpad hung on my speaker and I tore the surround on my Infinities trying to get the dashpad off.

You can take a heat gun and bend the vent work on the drivers side to get whatever you want to fit just be careful that you don't heat up the windsheild too much. I got 5 1/4" components to fit in my 89 Formula 350 it was alot of work though. I would put a baffle on the passenger speaker otherwise at high volumes it will pop regardless of what speaker they are. If in doubt take it to a MECP certified installer and they should only charge you for an hour's worth of labor to do it. If they quote you more they are shanking you. I do this for a living and have had 3 third gens and put aftermarket speakers in all of em! Good luck!
Yep, I just used 3 washers and shaved off a little of my dash pad....There is nothing to hang up on the Camaro pads and it works and sounds fine....Its been around a month.
