I assume you don't plan on driving this to school every day through the snow. If that is a safe assumption, then the answer is "no".

In your sig, you say your carb is "Holley 750 cfm DP vac sec carb". Since you're now asking if you should buy the referenced carb, I assume also that you don't have this "Holley 750 cfm DP vac sec carb" on the car now. I can say that with a little confidence because there is no such thing as a Holley carb that is "DP vac sec".

You're racing this thing, right? Then go get a mechanical secondary (also known as double pumper, or DP) carb, and pick a torque converter that stalls above the low end of the cam power line.

Have fun.

Cruising, eh? Well, that's different then.

Get a DP.

It's not a double-pump carb, it's a 3310. Vacuum secondaries plain as day.

It was the stock carb on everything from 65 427s to 70 LT-1s. A decent enough carb in its own right, but we've all learned a thing or 2 since then.

Your car as described, with its 754 cam replica, will run great with that tcarb, but will get about 7 mpg on a good ay around town. If your gears are lower number than 3.73, it will be downright unpleasant to drive, because that cam (it's about a 71 NASCAR cam) won't have any power below about 3500 RPM.

I think you'd do alot better with one of the Holley spreadbore manual secondary double-pumper carbs and some other cam.

What is your head casting number?

i believe the heads are 993 castings if that sounds right. i got that cam cuz i wanted a pretty good rumble. but this carb would suit my needs or would u recommend the 650spredbore dp or some other. its crunch time and i have the money to buy i just dont want to go over 300 bucks

57kid was right the first time. Get a 750 double pumper.
