Re: Edelbrock manifold

Performer and Performer RPM should fit without any problems.

Performer RPM Air-Gap can fit but with some issues as well. I have seen where a few people have experienced some issues and some didn't have any issues with these. I have a RPM Air-Gap on my 86 T/A. The original air cleaner would touch after I had aligned my hood so I installed an open element, drop base, air cleaner on it. I don't drive my car very much so I'm not worried about the filter element getting really dirty and about sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Yup I got the edelbrock 2101 performer intake and it fit perfectly when I had my stock hood.

have edelbrock 2101 with edelbrock 650 carb. With the air filter, it rests right against the hood. just make sore you have a drop down air filter cover, and I had to go with a 2.5" filter to make it fit

The RPM and RPM Air Gap are exactly the same height to the carb mount.

Re: Edelbrock manifold

I have a Performer RPM on my 84 T/A and it is a perfect fit for the stock air cleaner to match up to the hood intake.

I knew the RPM was a little higher than the base performer but didn't know it was the same height as the air-gap. Good to know. I've only had the base performer and the air-gap and have only dealt with those two as well.
